Log Title:A Robbery Gone Wrong
Dragon's Kiss
Masked_Bandit was doing just fine. Nobody around. He'd be damned if he could find anything worth stealing though. He'd had though that there was plenty of money just lying around a place like the Dragon's Kiss. Being interupted changes things though. He instantly lifts shotgun, and points it at the pair that just came in. He growls, and motions them inside with the wave of the muzzle.
Maylin stops in the door frame, falling silent, her gaze falling on the bandit, though rather then argue with the armed man, she simply nods and steps to one side of the room, "don't shoot." she says, softly.
Keme steps in front of Maylin, hands raised in the height of his shoulders moving as the man motioned. His brows were straight, almost meeting, as the dark eyes locked with the bandit's.
Masked_Bandit grunts, and glances between them. He keeps his distance, but well within the range of the scattergun. He grunts, and motions down with the muzzle again, "Knees…And quiet about it. I don't want ta 'ave to splatter the walls with anything."
Maylin lets out a slow uneasy breath and nods to that, getting on knees, silently cursing herself for not owning a pistol at this point. Her gaze momentarily slips to Keme's and then returns to the bandit.
Keme always keeping a step ahead Maylin, he does as told, but lets his feet flexed. He cursed mentally for the same reason Maylin did, and his eyes never left the man's.
Masked_Bandit steps carefully around them, till he has a clear shot at their backs. "Thats good… Real good. Nobody needs to get hurt. Alright Chief.. on your face.. flat on your stomach…If you move. I swear by that feather in your head, I'll end this gal's days on earth." He watches to see if the man complies before saying, "Get up little lady.. Wheres yer cash box?"
Maylin shakes her head a little, actually considering not complying to him. But rather then do something stupid, she slowly stands up and walks calmly over behind the counter, opening a drawer and pulling out a steel box with a lock at the front of it, "here." she says, simply.
Keme does as he's told, flat on his stomach while his palms touch the ground besides his body. Trying to be aware of where was the man's gun and gaze. He seemed really angry, not frightened.
Masked_Bandit glances back to Keme, before nodding at Maylin, and the box, "Well open it up woman! And if you try anything. I'm just going to have to paint that wall red.. Injun red." He moves to keep his back from Keme, and still have a clear shot at both of them, "Hurry up."
Maylin pulls a key out and opens it, showing a few piles of money. It isn't alot, but definately all she has right now, "here, please, don't hurt him." her hands drop back down once the box is open and she takes a few steps away from him.
Keme already had a red skin, and wouldn't mind splatter some of it at the walls if it wasn't for Maylin's imminent danger. He frowned slightly when the bandit kept a position where a shot would be easy and kept waiting for a oportunity, if it was to come.
Masked_Bandit frowns, then glares, then snarls, "Is that all?" He move forward the shotgun up, pushing her back towards Keme, "You ain't holdin out on me are you? Down on the floor woman" He shoves her towards the floor, near the indian, and cusses under his breath, "God damn it. Riskin my neck for a few dollars….." He takes a couple of steps to the side, and jerk down a rope holding the doorway curtains back.
Maylin falls on the floor hard, letting out a yelp. She takes a moment to catch her breath and the rests her forehead on the floor as she lays on her stomach, saying nothing else for now.
Keme held still much pride for seeing Maylin tackled like this without doing nothing. Before the bandit steped aside, Keme tried to tackle him at his feet and take that fight to the ground where things would be even between them. ((What and how do I roll it?))

Keme held still much pride for seeing Maylin tackled like this without doing nothing. Before the bandit steped aside, Keme tried to tackle him at his feet and take that fight to the ground where things would be even between them. ((What and how do I roll it?))
Keme seized the position he was, his arms intentionaly flexed to get a good grip of the outlaw's feet but as he moved to do so, his still not so good ribs stinged and, in a gasp, only his right hand went there, but not as fast enough as it should, while he fell back to the floor resting on his left elbow. "Argh!!"
Masked_Bandit growls, and lets swing with the muzzle of the shotgun. Taking a swipe at the indian's head, he snears, "You think this is my first rodeo? I'll blow your fool head off." He steps back leveling the shotgun again, and jerking the rope from the heavy curtains.
Keme didn't change his position, looking straight in the man's eyes, breathing strongly, dark eyes bursting in anger. If that rope would be used for tying, he was just on man with only two hands, Keme would have a better chance.
Masked_Bandit drops the length of rope nearly on Maylin's head. He taps her leg with his foot, nodding to Keme, "Tie his hands behind him, and if it ain't tight enough to hold him.. I'll shoot you both. Savy?" To enforce his point he lifts the shot gun to his shoulder, taking careful aim at the indian.
Keme didn't took his eyes anywhere else but said in a controled voice, slowly getting to his knees. "I'm taking my hands back she can tie them." And if the bandit didn't do anything, he'd sit on his knees and move his hands back.
Maylin feels the rope hit her head and she slowly sits up, looking down to the rope and then to Keme. She however nods, remaining silent and slips over to him, carefully tieing his hands behind his back with a tight knot that cannot easily be broken, "there." she says, softly.
Masked_Bandit nods once, and grabs Maylin's arm, pulling her towards the front door, "Chief…if I see you again tonight. That last thing that goes through this gal's mind will be shotgun rounds." He growls at Maylin, "If you're quiet you won't get hurt none. Play nice and you and the injun here will live."
Keme can't move his left arm well enough. His rib stings as he pants, realizing that to untie the know he'd need to cry out loud in pain. So Keme just speaks through his teeth. "Leave her be! You already have your godamn money!"
Maylin yelps as she is suddenly dragged up to her feet again, eyes falling on Keme, "don't worry Keme, I'll be fine." she tries to smile, wanting to calm him even if it's a lost cause.
Masked_Bandit checks the street out the door before dragging Maylin outside, "Remember what I said Cheif.. You don't want to kill her do ya?" With that, he pulls her outside kicking the door closed.
Keme walks to door once the guy and Maylin are out to sneak a peak and see where he was heading to.
Masked_Bandit storms out of the Dragon, Maylin in tow. He growls at Torran, shotgun muzzle shifting his direction, "Run away less'n you like lead." He pushes the woman at the horse tied there, when he hears the door behind him. In one motion he swings back toward the door, pulling the trigger, peppering the doorway with shot. He curses and backs up to the horse, lifting the shotgun again.
Maylin falls against the horse, looking around frantically, the sudden urge to run away from this mad man almost propelling her forward, but upon seeing the door open to the Dragon Kiss, she stops frozen in her steps, the sudden fear for Keme's safely causing her to stay put.
Josephine blinks as she looks up hearing the gunshot. She dives towards the doorway of the Laundry Room hiding as she pulls her revolver looking towards Maylin with worry showing in her eyes.
Torran glances around when the shot goes off. He backs up more, not knowing if he's in the way or not.
Keme falls sat, back resting against the -inner- side of the peppered wall, shouting in anger and pain at his leg. Since he was already with a wound to his head and lead in his thigh, he'd try to break free from the tie, aparently praying, even if no one saw, in his native language.
He curses and backs up to the horse, lifting the shotgun again. The Bandit is reaching for Maylin as the pistol shot rings out.
Maylin takes a few steps away from the Bandit's horse, hoping the distraction will give her enough time to escape, though when she sees Keme getting shot, she cries out, trying to go over to him, but is stoped by the bandit.
Josephine curses softly to herself as she grazes Maylin with her first shot. Her thumb comes up drawing the hammer back moving to steady her arm along the wall lining up a second shot.
Torran flenches slightly, and backs up more. He glances around, as he hits a wall, and feels uncomfortable, not having a gun out here.
Keme keeps fighting uselessly against the rope. Man, Maylin could be a sailor!
Masked_Bandit gets knocked back against the horse as the bullet strikes home. He hisses through clinched teeth, "Goddamnit." He pushes off the horse, his hand reaching for Maylin's hair. He tries to pull her infront of him, shielding him fron another shot. He shouts out, "I'll kill 'er!!"
Maylin cries out, trying to fight against the Bandit, "just let me go." she cries out, dragged out in front of him, looking around frantically.
Josephine growls as she watches on her gun level looking for an open shot. "Let her go and you walk away with your life!!"
Masked_Bandit drags Maylin back with him again his horse. He calls out to Josephine, "You drop that pistola or I drop her. You seen a close up scatter gun wound?" He moves to swing up into the saddle, trying to drag Maylin with him.
Maylin gets pulled onto the horse, "just..let me go." she asks of Joey and Keme, "if he can get away…maybe..he'll let me go." she tries to reason with the two of them, not wanting either of them to loose their life over this.
Josephine looks around trying to search for another way out that doesnt involve letting the man leave with maylin. She lowers her gun and fires a round into the kidnappers horse.
The horse shies from the gunfire and is burned by Josephine's shot, a streak of red burning it's flank as it wheels up the street.
Instead of trying to calm the animal, the bandit spurs him on, using the moment to kick the animal into speed, and try to ride off.
Josephine levels her pistol once more cocking the hammer back as she makes a shot on the bandit aiming for his lower back hoping to hit the man or the horse with her shot.
Josephine cocks her gun once more trying to fire into the horses hip trying to cripple or at least stop the horse from its desperate running.
Josephine curses softly as she steps out of the doorway firing another shot at the bandit her last round before she has to reload. She yells for Keme to stay down.
Keme wasn't thinking too much, his only worries resting on Maylin's safety as he rushed out of Josephine's firing line, a man in his last strenghts trying what else he could do to free his woman. It wasn't manipulation, it wasn't a lie, it was sheer conviction. His thick voice echoes against the buildings as he shouted, pointing a finger at the running outlaw. "YOU LET HER GO NOW OR I'LL HAVE THIS TOWN HUNTING YOUR HEAD DOWN, YOU HEAR ME? LET HER GO NOW!"
Masked_Bandit spurs his horse down the street, low in the saddle.
